Wishes Do Come True!
It wasn't a Fairy God Mother or Glinda the Good Witch of the South who made a wish come true for the participants of PARC's Young Adults program. The experience was magical none-the-less when Jennifer Kolettis appeared at PARC’s Townline facility with the Learning about Our United States educational set.
Learning about Our United States is a comprehensive series that covers the geography of the United States, United States citizenship, American history, the United States legal system, government and political parties, and economics. This educational tool enables PARC to help students in the Young Adults Program grow and learn. The educational experience allows individuals to achieve greater goals, improve social skills, and increase self-confidence.
Jennifer is a friend of PARC who shows her support in many ways, including volunteering. She visits www.PARCway.org regularly to keep up with all the activity at PARC and noticed our Wish List posted on the site. Jennifer’s daughter, Morgan, volunteers regularly for PARC in our Young Adults Program and at our Respite Care center. Because of Morgan’s relationship with the students in the Young Adults Program, Jennifer chose an item from their wish list.
