Pennies for PARC Continues at SAM's CLUB
The pennies keeping adding up as PARC continues it's summer long Pennies for PARC campaign at SAM's CLUB. On Saturday, July 26, 2008 residents of PARC's Wilco Group Home participated in a Pennies for PARC fundraiser at SAM's CLUB in Peoria. In addition to raising money for the Wilco Group Home, the day long event help to increase awareness in the community about PARC's Community Living program.
The Pennies for PARC events also give participants the opportunity to show off their artistic talents. Each group creates their own unique PARC Piggy Banks to use at the fundraising event.
PARC Community Living programs support individuals with a wide range of abilities and interests in a residential settings. Participation in PARC's Community Living settings allows individuals to have the highest level of independence in a safe and caring environment.
