2008 PARC Benefit Auction
PARC invites you to get into the rhythm of the Latin beat at this year's Benefit Auction. "Partido para PARC!" as you listen to The Craig Russo Latin Jazz Project perform live at the 2008 PARC Benefit Auction.
Co-chairs Dr Yannis Kolettis and his wife Jennifer Kolettis have an exciting evening of culinary delights, live music, wine and mojito tastings, and a fabulous selection of auction items lined up. Last year's auction items brought in over $40,000. All funds received through sponsorship, auction items, or individual donations go directly to support PARC programs and services.
When: Friday, September 12, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Where: Par-A-Dice Hotel ballroom, East Peoria, IL. PARC is grateful for the continued support of the Par-A-Dice Hotel.
What: We invite you to join emcee Gina Morss at this exciting event to benefit PARC. This event includes a chance, silent and live auction, scrumptious hors d' oeuvres, wine and beverage tastings, fabulous desserts, and live music by The Craig Russo Latin Jazz Project.
Enjoy the best of both worlds when Latin meets jazz! The Craig Russo Latin Jazz Project is a fresh mix of outstanding jazz soloists, rich, Afro-Cuban inspired rhythms, and unique arrangements of jazz standards.
Reservation Price: Reservations are $40.00 each and tables of ten are $350.00. Reservatons include a buffet of culinary delights, wine and beverage tastings, live entertainment, and an auction bidding packet.

As a donor, you show your support for PARC. Donating is easy, just use our Auction Procurement Form to submit an auction item to the 2008 PARC Auction Benefit or contact, Sibylle LaHood at (309) 689-3608.

What type of auction items are we looking for?
We accept a variety of items, including restaurant gift certificates, retail gift cards, sports memorabilia, sporting goods, wine, gift baskets, jewelry, travel packages, artwork, etc.
Donors are encouraged to "think out of the box" and get creative with their ideas. Here are some ideas to get the creative juices flowing...
~ Host a “Cooks Night In” - wouldn't it be fantastic to have a group of daring chefs offer to wait 'hand and foot' on a group of deserving diners. They could plan and prepare appetizers and dinner, serve cocktails, and clean up after - what more could anyone want.
~Do you like gardening? A few hours work in someone else’s yard is a great auction item.
~Do you have access to a scenic location to host a picnic or party?
~Vacation packages are a big hit! Do you have a vacation home or beach house to donate for a week vacation? Think about sailing trips, road trips, ski weekends, fishing vacations, kayaking adventures, flying, sightseeing, etc. Perhaps you know how to get hold of airline tickets or a cruise to the Caribbean. A trip to Disneyland would be a family favorite! Maybe you have hotel connections.
~ Medical services are a popular item. Cosmetic surgery, Lasik eye surgery, and dental services are all wonderful.
~ Are you the premier "Santa" at the holiday season. Why not offer to have Santa make a personal appearance.
~ Perhaps you are a seamstress or tailor extraordinare. You could provide a custom made outfit or Halloween costume.
~ Art and Photography items do very well.
~Sports related items are another great event draw. Do you have special access to a sporting event or club - a box seat perhaps? Or access to a meet and greet with players or a special autograph signing?
~ Bring some culture into the mix. Can you get us tickets to the Opera, a theatre performance, or concert?
~Perhaps you can donate services. Graphic Design,Veterinary Expertise, Construction, Spa Services just to name a few.
