15th Annual PARC's In Bloom Style Show Blossoms!

On March 1, 2008, the Peoria Pilot Club presented the 15th Annual PARC’s In Bloom Style Show. The event proceeds go to support and enhance PARC programs and services and included a style show, luncheon, raffle, and silent auction.

The money raised at this event goes directly to PARC programs and services in support of our mission to provide choices for a quality life. Over the past 15 years, the Pilot Club has raised over $60,000 for PARC!

Proceeds from previous PARC’s In Bloom Style Shows have been used to purchase a wheelchair accessible Parker Tub for PARC’s Respite facility, adapted trackballs and joysticks for use in PARC’s community-based residential settings and in the PATS (PARC Assistive Technology Services) program, and Occupational Physical Therapy Services is acquiring equipment that assists non-ambulatory individuals by increasing bone density and range of motion.

Models from PARC’s Early Intervention program, Adult Day Services, and Community-based Residential Services program, along with models from Peoria Notre Dame High School and the Peoria Pilot Club, showcased fashions from Eddie Bauer, Four Seasons Women’s Apparel, Old Navy, Pink Sugar, Talbots, and Wendy’s Eyeglass Shack to a sell-out crowd at the Par-A-Dice Hotel ballroom.
