Celebrate Volunteers!
April 27, 2008 - May 3, 2008 is National Volunteer Week. A service of the Points of Light & Hands On Network the special week is sponsored by Target.
National Volunteer Week reflects the power that volunteers have to “inspire by example.”
While it is wonderful to have a nationally recognized week to pay tribute to volunteers and all they do to make a difference in their communities, at PARC we think every week should offer an opportunity to thank our volunteers. They are one of our most valuable assets and we try to recognize the myriad of ways they support our mission to provide choices for a quality life to individuals with developmental disabilities on a regular basis.
Volunteers encourage those they help and motivate others to serve. PARC wants all our volunteers and PARC Partners to know that we value all they do in support of our mission each and every day!
One way we get to formally express our thanks to our many great volunteers, staff, and PARC Partners is at our 2008 Annual Awards Banquet.
