A bean by any other name...
So you may ask yourself...What is a Mung Bean? That question was asked by several PARC participants and answered by Peoria County Master Gardeners as part of the PARC Enabling Garden education series.
On Friday April 25, 2008 volunteers from Peoria County Master Gardeners held classes in several program areas at PARC's Townline facility. On this day the class topic was Mung Beans. The volunteers were led by Master Gardener and PARC volunteer, Kandy Bernal.
Participants got a hands on learning experience. Master Gardener volunteers visited several program areas at PARC, interacting with young and old to offer continuing education experiences to PARC participants.
