Special Thanks to PARC's Enabling Garden Volunteers
PARC wishes to extend a special thank you to Dottie Shelton, Sheri Schorr, and Teresa Smith for helping with the "How Seeds Travel" PARC Garden Class on Wednesday, July 30, 2008.
The class was led by Teresa. Dottie answered the ever burning question: "I have this plant in my garden and I didn't plant it. Where did it come from?" Sheri added her own special touch by telling a story about how a pumpkin vine that appeared this spring came from a pumpkin left in the garden last fall. Teresa's presentation on "How Seeds Travel" was complete with different varieties of seeds and a magnifying glass so everyone could get an up close look.
PARC also wants to recognize Bonnie Gudat who has shown support for PARC's Enabling Garden for many years by giving so generously of her time, energy and advice. Over the years she has not only given so generously of her time, she has donated large geraniums and planters as well as other plants and gardening supplies. While her many grand parenting responsibilities mean that she will no longer be able to help us with our PARC Garden Classes, she continues to be a valued horticultural consultant and PARC Partner!
THANK YOU TO ALL THE VOLUNTEERS WHO MAKE PARC's ENABLING GARDEN GROW!
