Peoria Academy Bulldogs host the PARC Pirates for Great Basketball Action!

On Monday, January 7, 2008, the Peoria Academy Bulldogs Varsity Girls’ Basketball Team hosted a scrimmage match against the PARC Pirates Basketball Team. The two teams were introduced to each other when the Bulldogs helped cheer the PARC Pirates on to victory at their December 17, 2007 game against the HISRA Cubs. The Bulldogs became involved with the PARC Pirates through PARC Youth Volunteer and Bulldogs team member, Morgan Kolettis. She worked with Dave Raffel, Peoria Academy Director of Student Affairs and, and Kelly Stegall, PARC Activities Coordinator, to put the game together.

The game was action packed and fun was had by all who participated. While the Bulldogs took an early lead, the Pirates were able to rally in the second half. The final game score, PARC 18 and Bulldogs 18. Sometimes you can have it all. Everyone was a winner in this match!
